Hello and Welcome to The Domestic Violence Collective Volunteering Program.
So who is the DV Collective and why should you use your volunteer leave to support our cause?
The DV Collective comprises of over 100 existing domestic violence organisations, who provide services ranging from crisis care, shelters, counselling, legal support, emergency support, material aid, children services and court support through to empowering and recovery through education and employment.
They are often underfunded and under resourced. Case Workers rely on material aid agencies to provide support for their clients every day.
This is where we need you.
Through our team volunteering, you can support our grass root material aid organisations support more women escaping domestic violence safely.

Help to furnish a woman’s home

A safe start for babies

Spend a rewarding day surrounded by inspirational volunteers and staff making huge impact to work towards every child having an equal chance.
Women who have left due to domestic violence, have often fled quickly with nothing but the clothes on their back.
You’ll be supporting local women to care for their children by filling orders from case workers supporting these women in need…

Kids in crisis need your help

When a women leaves a family violence situation, she will often leave with nothing.
Volunteer for a day with this remarkable organisation supporting women and children with material aid across greater Sydney, Illawarra and regional areas of NSW.
With a huge welcome, you’ll hear about the service and where items are sent and the impact that creates.

Supporting mums and kids in crisis
TAREN POINT, SYDNEY, NSW

Volunteer for a day with this remarkable organisation supporting women and children with material aid across greater Sydney, Illawarra and regional areas of NSW.
Spend the day working as a team with a single goal of helping women and children in their greatest time of need.
With a huge welcome, you’ll hear about the service and where items are sent and the impact that creates - like a mum being able to leave the house now she has a pram!
