Providing prams, car seats and essential items to women who would not otherwise be able to afford these things creates massive impact.
With the new pram, mum can now walk to the local shops, community group or doctors. It makes it easier for her to leave the house, create connections, seek assistance and engage with local community…
What you will be helping with: A variety of tasks including assembling cots and bassinets, cleaning prams and high chairs, sorting clothes, shoes, toys, processing donations, making packs for families in need, helping prepare items for social workers to collect etc.
Dress: Comfortable casual clothing with covered in shoes for safety. It can be cold in winter and hot in summer, so please dress accordingly.
Lunch: There are a number of shops and cafes in the area, or you can bring lunch with you (there is a kitchen area).
What to bring: We will let you know a week prior about items that are urgently needed that you may bring to donate
