Centre for Women’s Economic Safety

Money Clinics are a free, national service to support victim-survivors with their financial safety. There is no eligibility criteria other than being a woman, non-binary or feminine-identifying person with financial concerns related to domestic and family violence.

Money Clinics are a safe space for women experiencing domestic violence to talk about money issues - no matter how big or small. They are run by a female, domestic-violence informed, financial specialist.

One to one, free, confidential, independent financial safety planning and advice that is violence-informed. Online video appointments are available from anywhere in Australia. In-person appointments are available by arrangement in some locations in NSW and Victoria.

Translating and Interpreting Service

Non-English speakers can arrange to access the Money Clinics using the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) for free.

To arrange an interpreter you can:

  • Have someone call Money Clinics on your behalf on 1800 730 031 and ask for an interpreter. We will make the arrangements (this could take several days) OR

  • Call TIS on 131 450 and ask them to contact Money Clinics on 1800 730 031.
