Backpacks 4 VIC Kids provide age appropriate essentials for children, aged from birth to 17, who are displaced very quickly. This volunteering opportunity provides an opportunity for you to gather much needed products which will then be used in the backpacks that are sent out across Australia. The DV Collective provide a list of items and we would love you to try your hardest to round up friends and family to help secure these essentials. You then take your loot to the Backpacks 4 VIC Kids warehouse on this date to spend the day helping sorting and packing.

Pick & Pack Workplace Group - Spend a day picking and packing items for displaced kids in need. The B4VK HQ team will be there to provide full briefing instructions. You’ll get a list of items and you’ll get to work packing backpacks with new and donated items. Feel free to bring a small item from our goods page to add to one of the backpacks.

Where do the backpacks go? - They are distributed to Case Workers and Services working with families with Children in need. Often these kids have been displaced quickly from their homes and they have to leave with nothing. The packs contain essential items for a kid and some special items too.

What to wear - Comfortable casual clothing with covered in shoes for safety. It can be cold in winter and hot in summer, so please dress accordingly.
