DV Collective Empowering you to make a difference in the fight against domestic violence.
The DV Collective is a national domestic violence initiative.
Many front-line, grass root, domestic violence organisations in Australia are underfunded and under-resourced, resulting in them having to turn away women and children seeking help.
Our Vision
Every woman experiencing domestic and family violence gets access to immediate support, safety, and is empowered to rebuild their lives.
Our Mission
The DV Collective supports existing domestic and family violence services by bridging the gap between current funding and resource models and the real world needs of community based providers.
We do this by building impactful partnerships between our network of members to secure and leverage support from private, philanthropic, government and community sectors.
Our partnerships build the capability and capacity of the DV Collective members to support more women and children, elevate the voices of lived experience, and enable our partners to contribute to practical solutions, while challenging organisational culture and attitudes towards domestic violence.
Who Do We Support
The DV Collective currently supports over 120 domestic and family violence services, including 30+ women’s shelters, case workers and specialist family violence services, legal support, wrap around essential services, including material aid, safety programs, group support and programs aimed to re-build emotional and financial independence. From crisis support, ensuring a safe house, navigating the legal system through to rebuilding her life and ensuring she has the means to build financial independence.
Our goal is to connect 500 members within the next 12 months.
